#10: Stil in Berlin
Stil in Berlin is definitely one of my favorite blogs. It’s a street style blog in Berlin, hence the name. Not only do Berliners have incredible style, but its my favorite city in the world, so I really enjoy seeing the fashionable people on the streets.
#9: Style Bubble
Style Bubble is a funny blog by Susie Bubble, a writer in New York. She was the first of many to start a blog full of images of herself in clothing she blogs about. I’m not a huge fan of her (I’m a bit sick of these vain young girls posting pics of themselves all over their own websites—see www.chictopia.com), but I do like some of her writing, as she can be quite funny.
#8: Cool Hunting
Cool Hunting is pretty cool fashion, art, and design website with daily postings about all kinds of products and places around the world. There is a lot of content every week—some of it interesting, some of it not so much. I check it pretty often, as they post a lot of really cool products with neat design features.
#7: Style.com's Style File
One of the best fashion websites is Style.com, hands down. They have a lovely blog called Style File. The editors and writers cover everything related to fashion (really, everything). They get the best interviews and images for events, shows, and fashion lines. I really like that they’ve been adding videos to the site—they change things up a lot, which I really like.
#6: Papier Blog
Papier Doll is a fantastic website and they have a special blog, Papier Blog, for Fashion Week coverage. This is one blog that I visit for updates on the fashion shows, runway looks and designer news. The writing is pretty interesting and short, which is a must for blogs I read. (Short attention span when it comes to blog reading.)
#5: New York Magazine-The Cut
I love reading New York magazine and I love their fashion blog, the Cut, even more. The short articles are always fashion-related bits of news or designer launches, filled with funny quips and snide comments. It’s amusing and well-written content, plus they always have the inside scoop on fashion news.
#4: SF Carrots Blog
[Disclaimer: I write this blog!]
A couple of friends opened a store here in San Francisco called Carrots. I helped them launch a blog—Carrot Talk—this summer to show what the store is carrying and what they love in fashion right now. I think its important for stores to have blogs now so that they can share what they have, love and want with blog-savvy shoppers.
#3: Bare Magazine
UC Berkeley has launched a fashion magazine called Bare Magazine. They have a very cool blog where they showcase their work and share their favorite fashion picks. I don’t really think they’re taste is interesting or innovative, but I like that they have started a school magazine.

#2: NY Times-The Moment
New York Times’s editors and writers run The Moment, a blog about art, design, and fashion. The writing is smart and cheeky, and paired with visually interesting images. The postings are fun, but also well-written.

#1: Pipeline-Refinery29.com
Refinery29.com’s new-ish blog, the Pipeline, is the ultimate source for New York fashion and retail happenings. There often stories with shopping guides for up-and-coming fashionable neighborhoods around the world, as well as street fashion photos from places like NYC, SF, and LA.
